Teaching materials - Network operations and engineering

Description: This course focuses on the network operations (including network management) and engineering (including design) tasks. Net2Plan is used in the network design part, in a case study where an IP over WDM network is designed. Actions considered are optical amplifier placement, optical impairments computation, full multilayer IP over WDM design considering fault tolerance to a set of risks, and business case analysys for some given traffic forecasts.
